Can I use these poles for both the Tungsten and the Platinum Gas Heaters?

Yes, our gas mounting poles are suitable for both our Platinum and Tungsten Gas Collections.

How do I know what's the right pole length for my space?

The heater should hang 8-9 feet from floor to the bottom of the unit. Here's the calculation:

Formula:
Ceiling height - Target height (8-9 ft) - 16.6 inches (heater + bracket) = Pole length needed

Example:

• 12-foot ceiling = 144 inches
• Target: 9 feet from floor = 108 inches
• Space from ceiling down to heater bottom: 144 - 108 = 36 inches
• Minus heater/bracket height: 36 - 16.6 = 19.4 inches
• Choose the 17.56-inch pole (closest available size)

Check the math:
17.56" pole + 16.6" heater/bracket = 34.16" total
144" ceiling - 34.16" = 109.84" from floor = 9.2 feet ✓ (within the 8-9 ft range)

Can the poles be installed at an angle?

No. Ceiling poles must drop down straight and not mounted so the pole is on an angle. The adjustment at pole mounting point is only meant to adjust to a pitched ceiling so that the pole can still drop down 100% vertically.
