Put a Fire in Your TV Wall with the Modern Flames Landscape Pro Slim 80

You can build a fire into your TV wall on a standard 2x6 wall with no bump out, and the Landscape Pro Slim 80 is made to fit that wall. It is 80 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep, so the framing stays simple. Install it to the Modern Flames outdoor requirements and it also works under a patio cover, away from direct water and direct sunlight.

Modern Flames Landscape Pro Slim 80 built in electric fireplace with orange flames and driftwood logs on a gray wall

Key Features

  • Fits a 2x6 wall: Modern Flames optimized the fully recessed install for a 2x6 framed wall.
  • Indoors or covered patio: Approved for both when installed to the Modern Flames outdoor requirements.
  • Three color zones: Set flame, ember bed and downlight colors on their own to match the room.
  • App, remote or voice: Run it from the Modern Flames app, the remote, or Alexa and Google.

Want a second opinion on your wall or patio before you frame it? Call (888) 883-7568 or email contact@resortsdepot.com

The Full Picture

Modern Flames calls the Landscape Pro Slim its most compatible design for mounting alongside a TV, and the 80 gives your TV wall 80 inches of flame.

Flame, ember bed and downlight colors are set independently, and both the remote and the Modern Flames app control them. The box includes the Canyon Driftwood log set and two kinds of acrylic media, smoke and clear.

For a patio install, Modern Flames wants the wiring done to local building codes and a professional installer consulted first. The overhang, side distance and base height rules are in the FAQ.

Who It's For

This fits homeowners building a TV wall with a fire in it, in a living room, a lounge or under a covered patio. It also suits boutique hotel, B&B and rental property owners who want an 80 inch electric fireplace on a standard 2x6 wall. For outdoor installs, the standard warranty applies only if the fireplace is installed per the Modern Flames outdoor installation requirements.

  • Finish trim included: The trim ships in the box, so the opening is finished without a separate kit.
  • 4 flame speeds: Slow the flame down or speed it up from the remote to suit the room.
  • Hidden manual controls: The controls stay out of sight, so nothing breaks up the clean face.
  • Canyon Driftwood logs: 12 logs come with the 80, so the fire has a detailed look.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a covered patio install need?
A patio cover, and no direct water contact or direct sunlight. The patio roof overhang and the side distance must each be at least 50 percent of the patio roof's height, measured from the bottom of the fireplace, and the base must sit at least 2 inches above the floor.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes, through the Modern Flames app over Wi-Fi, which works with Alexa and Google. The remote and hidden manual controls are there too.
How is it different from the Orion V2 Slim?
The Orion V2 76 inch Slim also fits a 2x6 wall and shows LCD video flames that look more like real fire, but it is indoor only. The Landscape Pro Slim 80 is an outdoor rated electric fireplace for covered patios, with RGB color control and the optional mesh screen the Orion does not offer.

The Landscape Pro Slim 80 goes into a standard 2x6 TV wall with no bump out, indoors or under a patio cover. Talk through your install with a Resorts Depot product expert.
