The Modern Flames Orion Slim 52" (OR52-SLIM) is a single-sided linear electric fireplace built for built-in or wall-mount installation. It runs on Heliovision® flame technology — a video-based display system that renders realistic, multi-dimensional fire across a 14-inch-high viewing area, with color-adjustable downlighting, a fully customizable ember bed, and ambient crackling sound. Part of Modern Flames' V1 Orion Slim lineup, the OR52-SLIM is the indoor-only, single-sided entry to the Heliovision tier — designed for properties where a 6-inch wall is the constraint and realistic flame display is the requirement, starting at $4,279 MSRP.

  • Multi-Color Downlighting & Ember Bed — Each independently adjustable across 10 colors plus a continuous color-cycling fade mode; settings save in memory between uses
  • 5,000 BTU Supplemental Heater — Built-in thermostat adjustable from 68°F to 88°F; cycles between off, fan only, low heat, and high heat
  • Three Control Methods — Touch control panel on the unit, included remote control, or the Modern Flames WiFi app (requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for initial pairing)
  • Ambient Crackling Sound — Built-in speaker with four volume levels; sound operates independently from the flame and heater
