Frequently Asked Questions
Will it scratch my vinyl liner pool?
No. TenJam designed the entire SPLASH Series specifically to be safe on vinyl liner pools. The Ripple has a smooth surface and rounded edges that won't nick, catch, or tear delicate pool finishes. It's also safe on gunite and fiberglass.
How do I keep it from floating in deeper water?
Thread a 4 lb coated weight (sold separately) through the handle opening on the side of the table. This increases the maximum working depth from 9" to 15". If you're pushing toward the full 15" range, TenJam recommends using two weights for solid stability.
Can it be used as a seat in the pool?
Yes. It holds up to 300 lbs and the built-in handles make it easy to reposition or pull it up next to existing seating. It works as a side table, a step, or extra in-water seating depending on what the moment calls for.
Does the surface get hot in direct sun?
Like most polyethylene products (plastic coolers, outdoor chairs, stadium seats), the surface can get warm in direct sunlight. Darker colors tend to run hotter than lighter ones. A quick splash of pool water brings the temperature down immediately before you set anything on it or use it as a seat.
