Cover the gap around your Orion 36" with an electric fireplace insert surround

Use this surround when your Orion Traditional 36" goes into an existing fireplace opening as an insert. Modern Flames offers this electric fireplace insert surround as an optional accessory for that fireplace.

Key Features

  • Two sizes: Small 4" (OTK-OR36-SM) and Large 6" (OTK-OR36-LG) for the Orion 36".
  • Fits both versions: works with the Orion V2 36" Traditional (OR36-TRAD-V2) and the Orion 36" Traditional (OR36-TRAD), with the same part numbers for both.
  • Uses the fireplace's own screws: take off the existing trim by removing 8 Phillips head screws from the rear with a P2 screwdriver, then attach the surround with the same 8 screws. Laying the fireplace on its back makes the swap easier.
  • Taller top option: the 7" top extension for the Orion 36" surround (OTKP-OR36-7) increases the height to 30-1/2" and must be purchased with the Small 4" kit (OTK-OR36-SM).
