How a 100 Inch Linear Electric Fireplace Fits a Standard Wall

Start with the wall. The finished opening is 98-7/8" wide by 16-1/4" high and 4" minimum deep, and it is non load bearing.

Wall mounting uses the supplied bracket, set into studs where possible and into the supplied drywall anchors where not. You can also install it beneath a TV, and it comes with do it yourself installation instructions.

How the Hybrid-FX LED Flame Works

The Hybrid-FX LED flame is made from light, not video. High intensity LED lighting with layered optics creates the effect.

  • Atmospheric look: The flame looks more atmospheric than realistic.
  • Ember bed: Glacier crystals make the bed, and the log set has 16 driftwood logs.
  • Color memory: The unit remembers the last flame and ember bed color you used.

Living with This 100 Inch Electric Fireplace

  • Remote only settings: 3 flame speeds and 5 brightness levels for flame and ember bed, so you fine tune the look.
  • Built in timer: Runs 30 minutes to 8 hours, so the fireplace shuts itself off.
  • Two heat settings: Low draws 733 W and high draws 1,465 W, so you can step the heat down.
  • Overheat shutoff: The heater shuts off automatically, and unplugging for 5 minutes resets it.
  • Heater lock: Hold HEATER for 5 seconds to lock the heater and thermostat where you set them.
  • Plug in or hardwire: Plugs straight into a grounded outlet, and hardwiring is optional with a qualified electrician.
